The holiday region Winterberg is located right in the heart of the Bike-Arena Sauerland with its huge network of bike tours. If you are a race biker, a mountainbike, an e-bike cyclist of if you are just cycling for fun and pleasure – we have the perfect route for everyone.
The Bikepark Winterberg is a hotspot for freestyle bikers and famous throughout Germany.
In the Trailpark a 40 kms long route network awaits mountainbikers – 50 kms of these are flowy trails.

Children want to experience and discover! Summer toboggan run, ropes course, water skiing and wake boarding, donkey hikes, mountain-carting or Segway tours – in Winterberg you will find new adventures just around the corner. Each year during the holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia we have a holiday programme for you in which you will find many offers and activities for the whole family.
Our guests swear by the “Sauerland Sommer Card” – with it you get free or reduced access to around 40 leisure facilities in the region.

Just a short journey to your destination full of winter joy – that is the attractive combination that Winterberg offers you as the biggest connected ski area north of the alps.The choice is yours: nine ski areas with 81 ski slopes at a total length of 50 km, more than half of the slopes can be artificially snowed, a total of 60 ski lifts of which 15 are modern chair lifts, also 32 floodlit ski slopes.
